3D printing or CNC machining for my prototype?
3D for speed and complex shapes (24-72 h). CNC for mechanical strength, tight tolerances and metallic materials. We advise you according to your use.
What lead times apply to a first prototype?
FDM 3D printing: 1 to 3 working days. Resin: 2 to 5 days. Simple CNC machining: 3 to 7 days. Exact lead time on each quote.
Which 3D file formats do you accept?
STL, STEP, IGES, OBJ, 3MF and Fusion 360 / SolidWorks files. No file? Describe the part or send photos with dimensions.
Can I prototype in plastic and then switch to metal?
Yes, it is a common strategy. Prototype in nylon or resin to validate the shape, then machine in aluminium or steel for mechanical tests.
What is the minimum quantity for a prototype?
A single part is enough. We also prototype small batches of 5 to 20 parts for user testing or pre-series.
