Aerospace: your questions, our answers
Which aerospace materials do you machine?
Aluminium (5083, 6082, 7075), titanium (grades 2 and 5), stainless steel (304L, 316L) and alloy steels. The choice depends on mechanical, weight and corrosion constraints.
What tolerances can you hold?
Depending on the part: ±0.05 mm as standard, down to ±0.02 mm on critical dimensions. Tight tolerances are specified on the quote after analysis of the drawing.
Do you make aerospace-certified parts (AS9100)?
We machine mechanical components to drawing with file traceability. For programmes requiring specific AS9100 certification, contact us to assess feasibility.
What is the minimum quantity for a drone prototype?
No minimum quantity. A single part for a flight test or a test bench: that is possible.
What lead times apply to titanium parts?
Simple parts: 1 to 2 weeks. Complex 5-axis geometries: 2 to 4 weeks depending on load. Estimated lead time on each quote.
